Hi there
I had to attend a meeting yesterday, and guess where it was held - in the Fire Station! Not only that, but two hunky firemen sat in on the meeting! it seems that future meetings will be held there too, so I can have a regular gawp at them.
And would you know it - I left my stick behind, so I've got to go and fetch it one day next week!

Hey Lyn Now this sort of meeting sounds like it could be right up my street Oh dear, shame about the stick though, perhaps someone could get it back for you to save you the journey? Lyn x

What a lot of cupboard love! I've already had an offer from Lucy to fetch the stick!
I think I can just about manage to go and get it back. Perhaps I'll end up leaving something else behind, a glove or something, as my memory is so bad.
Seriously. the meeting was for a group called NottsLINk. we are trying to improve health services in our area in little ways. I'm writing a piece about RADAR keys or National Key Scheme, and also finding out about shops in the area that will allow people with medical conditions to use their toilets.
You're welcome to come if you want. You could sit in with the hunky firemen!

Have I missed something here? Now Lyn, if you need a professional carer to support you when retrieving your stick count me in! In the past I used to arrange home visits to clients with fireman to conduct health and safety fire checks, perhaps I could arrange a few visits for you girls......? LOL

Julie, I hope by "practice" you don't mean setting fire to your house? I know you'll go to any lengths to get near the firemen but that is a bit extreme!
